Continental Barum opens new tyre warehouse in Otrokovice
The giant fully automated warehouse covers an area of 10,000 square metres. The base plate, fire wall and retention tank were built by our company VAMOZ. The warehouse is thus on a solid foundation.
The warehouse is 43 metres high, which is approximately the height of the Statue of Liberty in New York, and is the new landmark of Otrokovice. The fire wall that protects it is 40 metres high. The construction, costing more than two billion, is Continental's largest investment project in recent times. It was an honour for us to cooperate on this contract.
