The foundation slab is complete at the site of the new workshops in Opava
Construction of the new vocational workshops for the Technical High School in Opava is proceeding according to plan. The foundation slab for the future building has already been poured; the facility will provide modern facilities for training mechanics, CNC operators, and electricians. Students from the Secondary School of Construction in Havířov also toured the site to view the current phase of construction.
The foundation slab, measuring approximately 36 × 28 meters, has already been completed. New vocational workshops for the Technical High School in Opava will be built on this site, including two CNC workshops, an electrical workshop, and a product measurement laboratory.
It was during this phase that students from the Secondary School of Construction in Havířov, with whom we have a long-standing partnership, toured the construction site. First, they reviewed the project documentation and then headed directly to the site, where the construction team presented the individual stages of construction and the work currently underway.
For these future builders, it was an opportunity to see the construction project not only on drawings but directly on-site and to gain a better understanding of how the implementation of similar structures proceeds in practice.
In the coming months, we will continue with the construction of the building’s load-bearing structure, so its future form will become increasingly apparent.
