The CPIT TL4 building has been insulated. We are finishing the exterior and interior
Construction of the new research facility for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava is proceeding according to plan. The VAMOZ CONSTRUCTION team is finishing the building’s facade and interiors, while a unique testing ground is being built in the surrounding area. We will hand over the project, valued at more than 100 million crowns, to the university this Fall.
The building is now almost entirely insulated. More than 2,000 m² of glass wool has been installed on the facade, and 52 photovoltaic panels are currently being installed. Inside, we are finishing the tiling of the stairwells, pouring self-leveling screeds, painting, and carrying out other final touches.
At the same time, a test track is beginning to take shape around the site. Thanks to its varying curve radii, researchers will be able to simulate various traffic situations and test the autonomous functions of both passenger and freight vehicles. The complex will also include new paved areas, adjacent parking spaces, and on-site roads.
The CPIT TL4 building, together with the new test track, will provide facilities for the development, simulation, and testing of autonomous systems under real-world conditions.
