No more rain for amphibians
The amphibian pavilion we are building at the Ostrava Zoo has an unusual shape of an incomplete octagon. Its roof is also unusual. Rain is no longer a problem here.
Looking down from the roof, you can see the main administrative building, through which you enter the forest park. The amphibian pavilion, costing CZK 22 million, will be the first pavilion that visitors to the zoo will see. Soon. It will be completed in mid-October.
